So you want to buy a decent tablet, but not an iPad? The only option left is Android tablets. The Android built tablets are quite nice and a good choice. Initially, when Android tablets hit the market, they were in a pretty bad state, but eventually the Company pulled its act together and now it’s a completely different scenario. If you compare their old devices to the ones they are producing now, you will be quite impressed. Android has certainly come a long way, and the proof is in their recently launched gadgets.
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1: If you keep aside the fake stitching and Touchwiz factor, the device is a pretty decent choice. It also includes an S-Pen for all those who want it. The device is priced £450.
- Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet: This is a well-built and a great looking tablet that runs on an Android operating system. This 10inch device is not heavy at all for carrying around. It’s quite thin, has a good storing capacity, great screen and the performance is also great. The tablet also has a good camera which is usually not the case with most tablets.
- Tesco Hudl 2: The tablet is still recommended by many despite many complaints regarding cracked screens and charging problems. The tablet is a great deal as now it only costs under £100 from the original £129 price. Although the camera does not have high quality but does make up for this with its screen, a MicroSD slot and a decent processor. All these factors make this tablet a great choice for £99.
- Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact: Sony was known for making big tablets but now they have launched a smaller looking one in comparison to their previous devices. This 8inch tablet is proving to be far more popular than the previous devices. The Xperia Z3 is super thin, waterproof and quite lightweight. Rival tablets like Galaxy Tab S offers far more superior gadgetry, but this gadget is not far behind. The Sony tablet costs £269, not a bad deal if I must say.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4: The Samsung Galaxy Tab is one of the best Android devices to date in the market. From the best design, lightweight and best hardware, this tablet is the real deal. The device is superbly thin. There is not much to not like about the device.
