Education laptops get a style makeover with the release of 3 new notebooks by Toshiba. They range in price and specification –from a device with essential student features, up to ones with more contemporary features. The three devices released by Toshiba are categorised as:
- Portege Z2ot-C21OOED; This is the best device in Toshiba’s new education-friendly range: it is a high-performance 12.5-inch detachable 2-in-1 notebook with full HD touchscreen as well as an Intel Core i3-m3-6y30 processor, and an abundant 17 hour battery life.
Toshiba states: “The versatile Portégé Z20t 2-in-1 detachable PC delivers the enhanced speed and performance expected from the Portégé brand and allows users to switch instantly between notebook and tablet by simply detaching the screen”.
- Portege A30t-C1300ED; A multiuse 13.3-inch compact notebook with touchscreen, which has a series of upscale features such as a (1920 x 1080) full HD display and up to 11 hours of battery life. It also has enhanced security features such as Toshiba’s EasyGuard Technology.
Toshiba states: “The Portege A30t-C1300ED offers a number of features, including a 13.3” diagonal Full HD touchscreen display and continues with Intel® Celeron® 3855U processor ³ and Windows 10 Pro (National Academic License) operating system”.
- Tecra C40-C1400ED; A traditional 14-inch laptop, which features Intel Celeron 3855U Processor, 4GB RAM convenient features such as a spill-resistant keyboard, making it the ideal starting device for students.
Toshiba states: “Demonstrating legendary Tecra excellence and reliability in a 14″ form factor, the new Tecra C40 laptop is an entry-level PC, delivering the enterprise-class features today’s professionals want—all at a budget-friendly price”.
