It also lacks lettering on the arrow keys even though Huawei has partnered them with the Fn key to perform additional functions.
Nonetheless, we found the keyboard on Huawei MateBook 13 2019 satisfactory and suitable. This is a modest keyboard that has sizeable buttons which perform well even when you are sitting in a tight space, such as a flight. Its keys are relatively soft, and you don’t have to apply extra force to put them in action.
We took the “10fastfingers typing test” on this keyboard and were able to secure 76words per minute with 98% accuracy. Overall, this is an ideal keyboard for business users, writers and programmers who have to write a lot.
Touchpad performance

Connectivity
This is where Huawei has cut the corners to make up for the low-price tag of MateBook 13 2019. The port selection of this 13-inch MateBook did not reach to the fourth finger when we started counting. On the right edge, there is a Type-C USB port which you can use as the DisplayPort and for data transfer.
On the left edge, there is another Type-C USB port for charging and data transfer purposes. Plus, there is a 3.5mm combo audio jack for communication and auditory purposes but that’s all. There is no VGA port, HDMI output or Type-A USB 3.0 port on the MateBook 13 2019. What’s more irritating is that none of the two USB-C ports support Thunderbolt 3.
